Hinge Resistance Band Exercises

Overview

The hinge movement involves flexion and extension of the hips, which is a common movement performed whenever you reach towards the floor. Hinging, along with squatting, and lunging, make up the three foundational lower-body movements.

Proper hinging occurs at the hip joints while keeping your core braced and spine in a neutral position. To avoid injury, it is very important to focus on not allowing the spine to round forward during the hinging movement.
